Moving History: The Mayport Lighthouse Restoration

With nearly 60 attendees, thoughtful questions, and so much enthusiasm, we left feeling more inspired than ever.

One of the most memorable moments came when we shared the first interior photos of the St. Johns River Lighthouse. As images of the granite staircase and soaring circular brick column appeared on screen, the room let out an audible gasp. The unique staircase is something that makes the Lighthouse so special, as it is a design not often seen (pictured). Seeing so many people discover the beauty hidden within this structure is something we'll never forget, and is a great reminder of why we do what we do.
